Green office home has recently been faced with the fact that our 9 year old printer has given up on us.  It took its last brave gasp…and now I am faced with having to buy a new printer.  While starting to look for a new printer, I also really evaluated how “green” I am, my business is, and even my family is, in our combined printing habits.  Shockingly, the proof was not only in my home office, in my recycling pile, but also in the receipts that I have accumulated and tallied.   I honestly cannot say that I realized how incredibly much that copy paper and ink cartridges were truly costing me!  OUCH!

Unfortunately, it is tough to print “less”.  But I know that I can print “smarter”.
